1.      The process of writing a composite number as a product of prime factors is called the prime factorization of the given number.

2.      The prime factorization of every composite number is unique.

3.      The HCF of two or more numbers is the greatest number that divides each one of them exactly.

4.      The LCM of two or more numbers is the least number that is divisible by all the given numbers.

5.      The HCF of two co-prime numbers is 1.

6.      The LCM of two co-prime numbers is their product.

7.      The product of two numbers is equal to the product of their HCF and LCM.
